Awwal 19, 1432, April 23, 2011, SPA -- An Afghan civilian and two police officers were killed by roadside bombs in Afghanistan, officials said. One civilian was killed and another injured when a bomb exploded on Saturday in northern province of Kunduz, said Abdul Rahim, police chief of Khan Abad district. A national police supply convoy was ambushed by "enemies of peace and stability," Interior Ministry said. The term is used by officials to describe Taliban insurgents. Two police officers were killed and two others wounded, it was quoted as saying by the German Press Agency "DPA". The incident took place Saturday morning in Sorach area of Shiwa district in eastern province of Nangarhar.
