Sudan's Red Crescent Society has implemented an urgent plan to provide emergency humanitarian aid and medicines for 35,000 families displaced by the events of the Blue Nile State of Sudan as well as dispatched a team to prevent disasters in Khartoum, Fara and Kassala. A statement issued by the Society said the events in the Blue Nile State had displaced a large number of people, adding that more than 35,000 families are facing critical circumstances and are homeless amid a shortage of essential humanitarian needs.
