The United Nations today expressed its deep concern over renewed fighting in the Blue Nile State in south-eastern border of Sudan. The UN coordinator of humanitarian affairs in Sudan, George Charpentier said he was "deeply concerned about the recent clashes in Blue Nile State," between the Sudanese army and forces loyal to the governor of the State, Malik Aqar, who heads Sudan People's Liberation Movement.
