Turkish Aircraft Skids Off at India's Mumbai Airport Runway

A Turkish Airlines plane skidded off the runway after landing in India's Mumbai airport Friday but no injuries were
reported.
The Airbus A340 flight from Istanbul was carrying 97 passengers and crew.
It was not clear what caused the incident, the NDTV network
reported, adding that officials had thoroughly inspected the runway before the landing. An inquiry was ordered into the incident.
No injuries were reported and passengers were disembarked safely and taken to the terminal, the German Press Agency "DPA" quoted the network as saying.
