Scaffold Collapse Kills One, Injures Two at Southwest China Construction Site

A worker died and two others were injured after a scaffold collapsed at a construction site in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality Friday.
The accident happened at 7:15 p.m. at the construction site of the Wutaishan highway overpass in the city's Jiulongpo District, Xinhua quoted the municipal fire prevention bureau as saying in a press release.
The bureau sent firemen to the site following the accident.
The injured workers were sent to a local hospital, according to the release.
