There are seven forest fires on a total area of 126 ha in the Far East this Friday, the Forestry Department in the Far East Federal District reports. Three fires are continuing burning in Yakutia, one in the Amur Region, one in the Magadan Region, one in Kamchatka and one in Chukotka, Itar-Tass quoted a department source as saying. All the outbreaks in Yakutia and the Amur Region are localized. Since the beginning of the season, there have been 1,743 wildfires in the region. Almost 919,000 ha, including 720,200 ha of forests, burned up.
