In Russia's Far East there are 13 wildfires, which occupy an area of 7,800 hectares, the Far East Forestry Department said on Sunday. Big wildfires still continue, and new ones emerged in the Kamchatka and Maritime territories. Over 310 hectares of forests in the Khabarovsk Territory are on fire, Itar-Tass reported. Six big wildfires continue in Yakutia. They occupy 4,300 hectares of forests and 2,500 hectares outside forests. Since the beginning of the fire season, there have been 1,176 wildfires in the Far East. They occupied over 400,000 hectares. Fires in Yakutia covered 277,000 hectares of forests and 83,900 hectares outside forests.
