Separate landmine explosions have killed four Afghan civilians and a policeman and injured four others, officials said Saturday. The first incident took place in Tarin Kot city, the capital of Uruzgan province, late Friday. People were "on their way home for dinner when the landmine, which was under a bridge, went off, killing four and wounding two," a spokesman for the provincial police chief said. A second landmine explosion blew up a police motorcycle in the Dehraood district of Uruzgan on Friday, killing one Afghan police officer and injuring two others, according to a report of the German Press Agency "DPA".
