The European Commission (EC) announced here today specific programs to support development projects in Morocco, Algeria, Jordan and Egypt. The EC said its executive body adopted this year a European Action Plan for Morocco, which includes securing funding for a number of development projects worth 139 million Euros. On another level, the EC said it decided to allocate 100 million Euros to improve the living conditions of workers in Egypt; 34 million Euros to support the transport sector and the maintenance of cultural heritage in Algeria and 71 million Euros to pay for both educational and renewable energy schemes in Jordan.
