European Commission Supports Development Projects in Four Arab Countries

The European Commission (EC) announced here today specific programs to support development projects in Morocco, Algeria, Jordan and Egypt.
The EC said its executive body adopted this year a European Action Plan for Morocco, which includes securing funding for a number of development projects worth 139 million Euros.
On another level, the EC said it decided to allocate 100 million Euros to improve the living conditions of workers in Egypt; 34 million Euros to support the transport sector and the maintenance of cultural heritage in Algeria and 71 million Euros to pay for both educational and renewable energy schemes in Jordan.
