Shares rebounded strongly Tuesday on the Seoul stock exchange after recent heavy losses, as foreign investors ended their selling streak in response to gains in US and European markets. The benchmark Kospi index jumped 86.56 points, or 4.8 per cent, to close at 1,879.87. Advancing issues outnumbered losers 800 to 81. The main index of the technology-heavy Kosdaq market soared 22.08 points or 4.66 per cent to 496.23, according to a report of the German Press Agency "DPA".
