A number of ambassadors-designate took the oath before the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud during an audience at Alsalam palace in Jeddah this evening. They were Faisal bin Hasan Tirad, the ambassador-designate to the Kingdom of Belgium and Head of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Permanent Mission to the European Council and European Commission; Khalid bin Musaed Al-Anqari as ambassador-designate to Tunisia; and Saleh bin Mohammed bin Ghurmallah Al-Ghamdi as ambassador-designate to Italy. Following the oath session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques advised them to fear God Almighty before serving their religion, country and Saudi people. The ambassadors thanked the monarch for the royal confidence he bestowed on them, vowing to work hard to follow his advice and meet their peoples' aspirations. The audience was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Foreign Minister and Ala'a Al-deen Al-Askary, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign affairs for Protocol Affairs.
