King Abdullah speaks to some of the newly appointed ambassadors in Jeddah Tuesday. — SPA JEDDAH – A number of new ambassadors were sworn in at Al-Salam Palace here on Monday night in the presence of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The new ambassadors were Faisal Bin Hasan Tirad, the ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and head of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Permanent Mission to the European Council and European Commission; Khaled Bin Musaed Al-Anqari, Ambassador to Tunisia; and Saleh Bin Mohammed Bin Ghurmallah Al-Ghamdi, Ambassador to Italy. Following the session, the King urged them to fear Allah Almighty and serve their religion, country and people. The ambassadors thanked the Monarch, vowed to work hard, follow his advice and fulfill the aspirations of the people. Also present at the meeting were Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Foreign Minister and Ala'a Al-Deen Al-Askary, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign affairs for Protocol Affairs.
