Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranked first in the list of importers of fish from Yemen. According to the Yemeni Ministry of Fisheries, the Kingdom imported 20 thousand and 257 tons of fish and marine life during the first half of 2011, with a cost of more than $ 71 million. In a statement to the Yemen News Agency, Ghazi Ahmed Lahmer Undersecretary of the Ministry of Fisheries for the Sector of Services of Production and Marketing said today that his country's exports of fish and marine life covered 33 countries of which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranked first.
