Police say two passenger buses have collided head-on near Bangladesh's capital, killing at least 13 and injuring 50 others. Local police chief Fakhrul Islam says Tuesday morning's accident occurred on a major highway in Narsingdi. Narsingdi is 25 miles (40 kilometers) east of the capital, Dhaka. He says 11 passengers died at the scene, while two others succumbed to their injuries on the way to a hospital. He says at least 13 critically injured passengers have been sent to a hospital in Dhaka. The rest were being treated in local hospitals, Reuters reported.
