Japanese shares dropped more than One per cent in Tuesday morning trading following losses on Wall Street and European markets as investor sentiment was hurt by the yen's strength against the dollar. The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average lost 131.2 points, or 1.32 per cent, to trade at 9,833.81 while the broader-based Topix index was down 8.79 points, or 1.03 per cent, at 842.91, according to a report of the German Press Agency "DPA".
