An Iraqi Source announced Sunday that a Director General of the Ministry of Higher Education and his son were killed while they were travelling in a government car this morning in Western Baghdad in an attack carried out by unidentified men who were carrying guns with silencers. The Gunmen in a civilian car followed the official and his son in the government car which passed through western Ghazalia area, west of Baghdad this morning and began firing at them with pistols carrying silencers. The Police, immediately rushed to the scene of the incident and began an investigation into its circumstances and transferred the bodies of the dead to the forensic medicine department (of a city Hospital).
