Report: Italian Soldier Killed in Afghanistan

An Italian soldier was killed Monday and two others were injured in an attack in north-western Afghanistan, the Italian news agency "ANSA" reported.
The attack took place near the village of Bala Murghab.
The killing brings to 41 the number of Italian soldiers killed in Afghanistan since 2003 when Italy began deploying its troops in the country as part of the NATO mission.
