Two foreign divers drowned while exploring a sunken US warship in the northern Philippines, a police report said Tuesday, according to dpa. American divemaster Stephen Brittian and Hong Kong tourist Tin Shun Chuen went missing after they set off for the dive on Sunday off Subic Bay, 105 kilometres north-west of Manila. Brittian's body was recovered Tuesday inside the engine room of the shipwrecked World War II warship USS New York, the report said. Chuen's body was found floating at sea on Monday, the report added. USS New York is one of several US and Japanese warships that sank in Subic Bay during World War II, making the area a favourite dive site in the Philippines.
