The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Muhaydin Khoja has approved radio channel programs for the blessed month of Ramadan. The Minister reiterated the importance of taking into account the sanctity of the holy month in broadcasting channels including the Holy Quran and Islam Call Radios and directed to broadcast prayers from the Holy Mosque in Makkah and Prophet's Mosque in Madinah to Arab countries. The Assistant Deputy Minister of Culture and Information for Radio Affairs Ibrahim bin Ahmed Alsaqoub has pointed out that radio channels will provide 138 programs produced at radio studios during the blessed month of Ramadan.
