The Chief of General Staff of Pakistan Army Lt. Gen. Waheed Arshad, who is currently on an official visit to China, will hold important bilateral meetings with senior Chinese government officials. The Defence sources at Pakistan Embassy told APP that General Waheed's visit will help further strengthen defense cooperation and strategic relationship between the two countries. General Waheed will call on General Ma Xiaotian, Deputy Chief of General Staff of PLA. The senior officials from both the sides will also attend the meeting. During the meetings with Chinese defense leaders, General Waheed will also review the progress on various ongoing projects and discuss further cooperation in defense related areas.
