Ban Ki Moon, the Secretary General of the United Nations, who arrived in Khartoum earlier today, met here today with Sudan's Foreign Minister Ali Ahmed Karti. Following the meeting, Moon briefed reporters on the topics dealt with during his talks with Karti. He vowed that the United Nations would proceed with its support and assistance for Sudan to solve its problems, predicting that a prosperous future awaits this country.
