Ban Ki Moon arrives in Khartoum

Ban Ki Moon, the Secretary General of the United Nations today arrived in Khartoum for a two-day official visit during which he discusses the remaining unresolved issues with the North and South and takes part in tomorrow's celebrations for the announcement of the Republic of Southern Sudan in Juba.
During his stay in Khartoum, Ban Ki Moon is scheduled to meet with Sudan's Foreign Minister Ali Ahmed Karti to discuss the latest developments at the Sudanese arena.
