Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali bin Said Awwadh Assiri has delivered fifteen tons of dates to the UN Relief Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in Near East in Lebanon. The dates were a gift from Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General to the Palestinian camps' residents in Lebanon on the occasion of the coming of the Holy Month of Ramadan. The delivery ceremony held at the Saudi Embassy's headquarters in Beirut was attended by Charge D'affaires of the Palestinian Embassy in Lebanon Mahmoud Al-Asady and UNRWA Director in Lebanon Salvatore Lombardo. On the occasion, the Palestinian charge D'affaires Al-Asady praised the precious initiative of the Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, describing it as one of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's generous assistance benefiting the Palestinian people. For his part, Director of UNRWA expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its leadership for all of their assistance to the Palestinian people and their gift offered to the second year in a row on the occasion of the coming of the holy month of Ramadan.
