The gift of Crown Prince Sultan ibn Abdul-Aziz, the Deputy Premier, Defense and Aviation Minister and Inspector General, to the Palestinian refugees was delivered at the chancery of Saudi Embassy here today by Saudi ambassador to Lebanon Ali Asiri to Palestinian ambassador to Lebanon Abdullah Abdullah in the presence of representative of United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). The gift includes 15 tons of dates. In his speech Ambassador Asiri said the gift comes within the concern of Saudi Arabia over the Palestinian people and supporting them and as confirmation of the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud on the Palestinian people for providing assistance to them. He expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Crown Prince for this gift, which reflects his generosity and great compassion to Palestinians, and alleviating their sufferings to continue their steadfastness to regain their legitimate rights.
