The Council of Executive Directors of Islamic Development Bank Group approved in its meeting here today an amount of $ 700 million for financing a number of educational, industrial projects and rehabilitation of infrastructures in its Member States. The Bank also provided seven grants from the Endowment Fund of the Bank to support the efforts of education and vocational training in the six Muslim communities in non-Member States, including Brazil, Burundi, China, Ethiopia, India, and Slovenia, in addition to providing a grant to contribute to the development of four hospitals in the state of Puntland in Somalia.
