IDB approves $755.5 million for funding development projects

The Board of the Executive Directors of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) approved here last night a sum of $ 755.5 Million to finance development projects in 12 member countries.
The Board also endorsed seven grants as financial assistance from the Waqf (Endowment) Trust, an affiliate of the IDB to Sierra Leone and six Islamic communities of non-member countries.
It is a part of the bank's contribution to the economic development and social progress in member countries and Muslim communities in non-member States, said a statement issued at the end of the Board's meeting.
