At least six people were hurt including four policemen in a blast at a security check post, Geo News reported. There were no deaths in a bomb blast in central Multan city Sunday, a police official said, adding that three policemen were wounded. "The bomb explosion targeting a police check post wounded three police officers," Multan city police chief Aamir Zulfiqar said, correcting an earlier statement that the three had been killed. "It seems that the bomb was planted on a motorbike parked close to the police post," he added. Two of five criminals detained at the check post managed to escape while the police rearrested three. A suspicious man was also held from the spot believed to be an accomplice of the militants' parked motorcycle.
