A motorcycle bomb in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar killed one civilian on Saturday, a provincial spokesman said. The bomb was attached to a motorbike and abandoned in the parking lot of supermarket in the centre of the provincial capital, Zalmai Ayoubi, spokesman for the provincial governor said. "One civilian was killed in the blast and two vehicles were destroyed," dpa quoted Ayoubi as saying. The target of the attack was not known, he added.
