The Secretary-General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu today hailed the constitutional reforms announced by King Mohammed VI, the King of the Kingdom of Morocco, in his speech on June 17, 2011. In a press statement, issued here today, he said "These reforms are a quantum leap forward and that they are dedicated towards good governance, and the establishment of the rule of law and institutions, justice and equality, and are responsive to the aspirations of the Moroccan people in their diversity within the framework of the national unity in support of democracy and governance that forms a nucleus for the sustainable development."
