Mukarramah, Rajab 15, 1432 H / June 17, 2011, SPA -- On the sidelines of his visit to Denmark yesterday, Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL), Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki opened a cultural symposium entitled "For A Better Understanding Among Cultures" in the presence of Abdurrahman Al-Hadlaq, Saudi Ambassador to Copenhagen and a number of heads of diplomatic missions of Arab and Islamic countries, and a number of Western personalities concerned with the dialogue. Chaired the first session of the symposium on, Dr. Jürgen Simon, Professor of Middle Eastern Studies in the management of cultural coexistence and regional studies at the University of Copenhagen hailed the efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and highlighted the importance of the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the dialogue on human understanding and cooperation among the followers of world religions and cultures. Dr. Simon also expressed thanks to Saudi Arabia and the MWL for their attention to achieve the mutual understanding, cooperation and coexistence among different peoples across the world.
