Pakistan's Minister of Information and Women Affairs , Dr.Firdous Aashiq Awaan has hailed the depth and strength of the existing relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and said these bilateral ties go beyond the borders and regional and international changes because these relations stem from the common belief in unified, social and cultural values. According to a report of the Associated Press of Pakistan, she said the Pakistani people love and respect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud and the noble people of Saudi Arabia, adding that Pakistan will never forget the Kingdom's role and its supportive stand for them in all circumstances and highlighted its humanitarian assistance during the natural calamities. She made these remarks during a visit to the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad where she met the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Abdul- Aziz bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadir and reviewed with him the results of her recent visit to the Kingdom and her talks with Saudi officials in the Kingdom, which focused on means of activating and strengthening joint cooperation in various areas. The Pakistani Information and Women Affairs Minister also commended the outstanding efforts made by ambassador Al-Ghadir in bolstering the bilateral relations between the two countries and expressed optimism that Saudi-Pakistani relations will witness further progress and prosperity for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
