A two-day workshop, titled "Relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Iraq," concluded its activities at Al-Faisaliah Hotel here this evening with the participation of officials from the Foreign Ministries of both countries, and diplomats from both sides . Stressed the importance of holding meetings between the two sides, the workshop was co-organized by the Institute of Diplomatic Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom and the Diplomatic Institute of the Republic of Iraq. At the conclusion of the workshop, the Iraqi side expressed thanks and appreciation to the Saudi side. In a speech following the workshop, Ambassador Dr. Arshad Tawfiq Ismail of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry said :"I bear witness to history that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia did not impose a specific affiliation on any Iraqi".
