A Singaporean economic delegation offered numerous investment opportunities to Saudi businessmen on the sidelines of a meeting with Assistant Secretary General of Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Eng. Mohieddin Hakami. During the meeting, Hakami said the meeting comes amid times the world economy witnesses great challenges that require enhancing of economic ties of the two countries to transfer those tough circumstances to real opportunities that benefit both economies. Trade exchange figures show poor performance by businessmen in both countries, given the golden chances of investment, he said, citing that trade exchange size reached SR48 billion and the size of joint Saudi Singaporean projects amounted to $33 million. For his part, the Singaporean delegation presented a number of investment opportunities, particularly in the field of information technology.
