Eight contracts worth SR 16 million were signed here today at Umm Al-Qura University for financing research projects in strategic technologies with the support of the Secretariat of Comprehensive National Long-Term Plan for Science, Technology and Innovation, under the supervision of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology. Eight researchers from the Faculties of Medicine, Applied Sciences, Computer and Information Systems at the University signed the contracts with the University's Vice President for Higher Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Hani Bin Othman Ghazi for the implementation of the research projects.
