Pakistan's Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, discussed in a telephone conversation last night, the current bilateral relations between the two countries and prospective cooperation in the war on terrorism. A statement issued this morning by the Prime Minister's Office in Islamabad said Hillary Clinton recalled her recent visit to Islamabad and its contribution to the restoration of confidence between the two countries. For his part, Gilani said that the improving relations between Pakistan and the United States will have a positive impact on cooperation in achieving common objectives in the war on terrorism.
