Gulf Environment Forum 2011 currently in progress in Jeddah has presented the gift of "The Green Tree" to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud in recognition of his efforts in support of environment and its protection and on the occasion of the 6th anniversary of the allegiance pledge to the King and his ascension to the throne. The gift has been received by Prince Turki Ibn Nasser Ibn Abdulaziz, President-General of the Presidency of Meteorology and Environment and the Forum's President, which has been handed over to him by Prince Nawaf Ibn Nasser Ibn Abdulaziz, the Executive Director of Saudi Environmental Society and his Deputy Dr. Majedah Abu-Ras on behalf of 1,580 participants in the Forum . In press statements, the participants in the Forum congratulated the King on the 6th anniversary of his allegiance-pledge, saying that the King has set the best example for his keen interest in the progress of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the prosperity of its people during his prosperous era.
