Blast at China Chemical Plant Kills 3, Injures 8

An explosion at a chemical plant in eastern China killed three people and left eight injured, the official Xinhua news agency reported Sunday.
The blast occurred Saturday night in Zibo City, Shandong province, at a plant owned by Shandong Baoyuan Chemical Co Ltd.
The cause of the explosion was under investigation, it said.
