King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain received here today the Commander of Peninsula Shield Joint Forces Major-General Mutlaq bin Salem Al Azima'a. During the meeting, King Hamad bin Isa confirmed that the restoration of security and stability as well as prevent strife and maintain the safety of citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Bahrain is an unmatched and obligatory duty. He also said that the joint work with the brothers in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States is the fruit of long years of continuous fraternal interdependence that reflected in several honored stances the region has experienced, indicating that the Peninsula Shield Joint Forces' support of Bahrain is the best evidence of this.
