The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Egyptian Armed Forces Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as well as the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for supporting Egypt's economy with nearly $4 billion. In a statement issued today, Field Marshal Tantawi said the amount of $4 billion is provided as soft loans, deposits and grants, adding that this support reflects the depth of historical relations between the two brotherly countries.
