Government forces in Tajikistan have killed a militant who was among a group who fled from a high-security prison last summer. The Interior Ministry said Sunday Juma Ibrokhimov was killed the previous day along with a local accomplice during a security sweep in the remote and mountainous Rasht valley in the center of the Central Asian nation. He was one of 25 inmates to escape from a high-security detention facility in a dramatic breakout in August, according to a report of the Associated Press.
