More than 10 million eligible voters in Italy were being called to polls Sunday for two days of regional elections which conservative Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has termed a "national test" for his government. Voters were being called out in nine provinces and 1,177 communities, including in such major cities as Milan, Turin, Naples and Bologna, according to a report of the German Press Agency "DPA". Balloting ends at 3 pm (1300 GMT) on Monday, with initial results not expected before late Monday night.
