Three gunmen have been killed in a special counter-terrorist operation in Russia's North Caucasian republic of Dagestan, a spokesman for the National Anti-terrorism Committee told Itar-Tass on Sunday. "Today, since 06:15 a.m. Moscow time, a counter-terrorist operation has been conducted in a forest in Dagestan's Kizlyar region. As many as three militants hiding in a well-equipped dugout have already been neutralized," the spokesman said. One servicemen of the federal internal troops was killed in the skirmish.
