Under the patronage of Prince Salman Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Governor of Riyadh Province, the 13th Local Contest of Prince Salman Ibn Abdulaziz Prize for Memorization of The Holy Quran and Its Intonation for Boys and Girls in Riyadh, will start here next Monday with the participation of 104 contestants. The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, who is also General Supervisor of the Contest, expressed his thanks to Prince Salman for providing financial and moral support to memorizers of the Holy Quran, noting that Prince Salman has provided financial rewards from his own expenses amounting to more than SR 18 million for the Contest over 12 years. The Contest's Secretary General Dr. Mansour bin Mohammed Al-Sameeh has said that the Secretariat General of the Contest at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance will transmit the contest live on its website on the Internet.
