The proportion of Saudi pilots working in the Saudi Arabian Airlines has exceeded 90%. This came in a statement to Saudi Press Agency by Abdullah bin Mishbib Al-Ajhar, Assistant Director General of the Public Relations at Saudi Arabian Airlines. He also said that the national carrier airline of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has not contracted with any new aviators of any nationality during the past five years. Abdullah Al-Ajhar pointed out that this percentage comes as the highest proportion of national citizens working at any airline in the region, denying reports claiming that the Saudi Arabian Airlines has recently contracted with three pilots from one of the Asian countries.
