KAST Awarded a Kuwaiti Medal

The Board of Trustees of Sheikh Salem Al Ali Al-Sabah Prize for Informatics has granted a medal of informatics for this year to King Abdulaziz City For Science and Technology (KAST) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia due to its active roles in communication technology.
The Board said in a press statement carried by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today that King Abdulaziz City has been selected in recognition of its great advances achieved in the field of informatics, development of science, promotion of creativity and Saudi Arabia's progress towards a knowledge-based society through KAST's 190 programs in the fields of science and technology.
