King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftness and Creativity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia won three engineering medals at the International Sustainable World Project Olympiad, known as I-SWEEEP. The I-SWEEEP is a premier science event organized in the US city of Houston. The medals, which included two silver medals and one bronze, were won by three students, Abndulrahman Alfoozan, Abdulmohsin Alblooshi and Abdulaziz Alghnaim. The Kingdom succeeded in winning the medals among 69 countries and 43 U.S. states which participated at the event by displaying their science projects about pressing issues of energy, engineering, and environment. Secretary General of King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftness and Creativity Dr. Khalid Alsobaiti presented this accomplishment as a gift to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the president of the foundation, for his support for talented and creative Saudis.
