Awwal 22, 1432 H/April 26, 2011, SPA -- Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Hong Lee asserted that the strategic dialogue between his country and the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is a mechanism of collective dialogue between China and its partners in the Gulf region. During a press conference held here today, Hong Lee said the dialogue helps the development of relations between China and GCC member states in the various fields. Yang Jiechi, Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs is due to participate in the activities of the second round of the strategic dialogue between Chinese and GCC sides, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates on 1-7 of May 2011.
