Minister of Information and Culture Emphasizes Importance of Roles of Economic Information

Awwal 20, 1432, April 24, 2011, SPA-- The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz Bin Muhaydin Khoja emphasized the importance of active and strong roles played by traditional and modern media in the progress of the society and plans of development, pointing out that the Saudi society considers the media as a major partner in the advancement of the society and the information is the hidden conscience that guides, enlightens, criticizes and monitors in the society.
In a speech delivered at the inauguration ceremony of Economic Information Forum opened here today by Minister of Social Affairs Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen on behalf of the Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Khoja stressed the importance of holding this Forum, which discusses the roles of the media in addressing issues of development.
