Germany's Merkel To Meet With Palestinian President Abbas in May

Awwal 19, 1432, April 23, 2011, SPA -- German Chancellor Angela Merkel has invited Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to Berlin next month to discuss issues in the Middle East.
A German government spokeswoman said Saturday that Merkel would receive Abbas on May 5. She withheld her name in keeping with government policy, the Associated Press reported.
