Nomination day for would-be members of parliament, when candidates must present their documentation at nomination centers, will be April 27, a Singapore government statement said. President SR Nathan dissolved the parliament earlier in the day, DPA reported. Some 2.35 million Singaporean voters are eligible to elect 87 members of parliament in 27 constituencies in the forthcoming polls, according to local media reports.
